Excursion

Good Morning Parents,

We have had a number of parents ask us about joining the classes on their excursion on Monday. The Bayswater Shire has politely requested no parents attend due to the large number of students.

The Constable Care Safety House is happy to have parents attend – provided they are willing to join in the activities and help out with the programme. We will be there from 9 – 11.30am before going across the road to McDonald’s for lunch (where you are also welcome to join us!).

Just a reminder that any permission slips and lunch orders for McDonald’s that have not yet been handed in, need to be in tomorrow morning!

Best wishes

Clare Wright & Leesa Vinciullo

Sports Carnival

Well done to all students who did a fantastic job at the Sports Carnival last Friday! Everyone did a fabulous job at representing their Faction. A special mention to Koby Harbrow from our class for winning Year 5 Champion Boy! Congratulations Koby!!

Please note parents that this week dancing is on Thursday so students will need to wear their sports uniform.

Year 5 Excursion

Early next week a note will come home giving full details of the Year 5 excursion on Monday 18th September. We are very excited to announce that we are officially going to be the first class to participate in the Constable Care Child Safety House Program. Just to give everyone a heads up, the program will include students riding bicycles around the safety facility. All bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if it has been a while since your child hopped on a bike, it might be a good time to have a little refresher ride. The day will also feature lunch at McDonald’s and a trip to the Bayswater Shire, where we will have a tour and participate in a mock meeting.

As mentioned, all details will be outlined fully in the letter that will come home next week.

So, update your calendar and we look forward to seeing you all at these exciting events!

Best wishes

Leesa Vinciullo and Clare Wright

5 Green’s Assembly

All students did an amazing job for our assembly and should be very proud of themselves. If you were not able to make it and would like a copy of it then feel free to send in a USB and I will upload it for you. Unfortunately the video is too big to be uploaded onto the blog site.

Friendology

Good Afternoon Parents,

Tomorrow is our final lesson for Friendology. Can you please remind students to bring in any personal items that they might like to add to their shoe bags that represents who they are, their likes, their hobbies and their interests.

Thank You
